High end eatery up in Lauderdale. Good for an evening when you go up to Broward Center. They do deep fried lobster bits that aren’t on the menu.

Love it. Love it. Love being in this space. Love the way the tables are spread out, love the look of the place with its stations set around to break up the huge space. Don’t love what it costs to park. But love it. Love the food, the atmosphere, the way you want to sit here all day sipping cocktails.
The first of four wonderful novels.

Rouge
what a beautiful backyard. actual grapevines growing. delicious food and really just a lovely place
Toscano Divino
This was one of those odd picks. Todd usually chooses something off the beaten path for wednesday nights. Im nt sure how he came u with this. Perhaps because it was a beautiful night and we wanted to be outside. SO here we were in the heart of Mary Brickell Village enjoying the people watching eating passable italian.

Tap 79
On the 79th Street Causeway. And worth it. An interesting menu, a place that is filled with regulars, where you can bring the dog.

Sometimes on a Wednesday night Todd knows just where we are going, usually actually that is the case. But I think we wound up here completely by accident. And we loved it. We still aren’t sure what the name is about. 5 hams? yeah, but there seems to be more to it- that is the idea of ‘five hams’ has some connotation that we dont get. But the meats are great, the sides and service also wonderful , and some nights there is a latin band.
