Cibo Wine Bar
what a happy place. in coral gables. Eat inside at the bar, eat outside on the patio, and drink. a most wonderful bartender. And a wine room behind glass with an adorable girl on a swing/ in a harness, playing. http://www.cibowinebar.com
Red Koi
I love eating here. On miracle mile in the gables. There are a few tables outside. Its a sushi place but so much more.
The Grill at Bal Harbor
Now this is a place I wish was in my neighborhood. Its a restaurant. A real restaurant with a real menu. Steak, burger, fish, fries, salads. All good. And at Bal Harbor so visually pretty and always good service. Never fast. Always good.
Caffe Abbracci
One of the finest Italian restaurants in Coral Gables, a city filled to the brim with good places to eat , especially Italian. Each with its own feel. I like to sit out front and visit with the other diners on the sidewalk Its a totally different experience than eating inside with its noisy atmosphere and up sale crowd. I always get the breaded veal chop.
Ruths Chris
My Dad’s favorite. I like the way they butter the steaks. They are happy to please, even eager and the food is delicious.
Two Chefs
In the Pinecrest area you wont find a fancier better place. It is our high end food spot. You can eat at the bar. It gets loud and crowded on the weekends and if you are a party of two you may wind up across from each other at such a deep table that you can barely hear or reach each other. I try to reserve a corner table if and when I come here.
Dessert is a must, soufflé! And everything is good. Salmon has been great, Onion Soup is great. The main courses are often not. Meet can be tough, flavor can be hard to find. But we come anyway.
Swensons
Certainly if you haven’t been here you gotta try it. Some love the love the sandwiches, i go for the ice cream. you canto wrong
Schnitzel House
So much good food on the 79th street causeway. It feels authentic, whatever that means. Bread it, pan fry it, add a little gravy. Its good.
Jaguar
Everyone likes Jaguar. I suppose i should give it another try. In the Grove and with a varied menu it has everything i should like.
