In Pinecrest and I hate to pan it as we desperately need good eats down here.. but.. It was bad. A skinny well done burger, a tough steak sandwich, nothing special in the fries or dessert department. I suppose its a step up from McDonalds and down from Fridays

In South Miami, besides eating at the cafe at Myras Salon this is the best meal in South Miami. And if you can snag an outdoor table on a cool day at the end of the lunch rush you can enjoy a delicious soup, salad, sandwich or combination of the three. and a lovely pot of chocolate for dessert.
OBBA
Sushi in Coral Gables.
We stopped in at OBBA for lunch. I was with family who had been there before and liked it. We ordered too much and enjoyed every bite. the presentation was exquisite and the experience delightful.
I was especially taken by the phone charger they provided at the table. i never knew such a thing existed.

Books and Books
Yes, its a book store but the Cafe is great. Its a must visit if you are in the gables, tho he also has locations at the Arsht Center, on the Beach and a few others. Sitting on the Patio in the gables, enjoying a great sandwich, coffee and a really good dessert, surrounded by books and good people. I love it here.
