Big Fish
Sadly, last year, i think this place burned to the ground after a bolt smashed into its dock. But i could be wrong. Either way it is now closed and its a loss. The closest thing, which actually exceeds it , is Cafe Roval for a lovely outdoor dinner. Perhaps Rouge also competes.
Sosta
Miramar. Limited Menu, no veggies on the side and no garlic rolls???
Spring Chicken
Is it ok to say Popeyes is better, so is kentucky fried. Im not even sure that the sides here are that good. Know the place always feels dirty but its popular because there isnt anything else like it.
Fratelli Milano
downtown. Everything was good and i do love going to new places every week. But our rule is we never repeat a place. so unless it is outstanding its usually just the once, and this one is not convenient enough to return to, tho everything really was marvelous.

Beaker and Grey
We sat half in and half out at a tiny table at Beaker and Grey. Nothing about it stands out. It was good, and a fun find as most of my Wednesday nights out are. But it didn’t stand out as some do. So go, its good, its casual, they have a full bar.
The Local
I was first to the Local with a group of six.. the perfect size group to eat there. great sharing plates arrived one after the other and each was tasty. You can also get a good burger, great Fries and i like the chicken dumpling soup. On Giralda in the Gables. Be cautioned- they have lunch hours, dinner hours, and an in-between hour where getting food isn’t necessarily easy.
150 Giralda

Hugo’s Frog
Chocolate Cake- That’s what Hugo’s Frog means to me. I promise there is no way to be disappointed. The steaks are amazing. The fish too. This is a top notch restaurant. It isn’t the quietest, and they don’t have the ‘splendor’ of some of the swankier places in town. But the food is a solid 10, the restaurant has it’s own style of flash, the wait staff has always been attentive, it feels good to be here.

OGGI caffe
In the ground floor of a non descriptor office building is this charming little spot. We came up for lunch and though the service was slow we enjoyed ourselves. We sipped Iced Tea on the Patio out front, watched the people coming and going. I would go back if I were up on the79th street Causeway with idea where else to go.
IronSide Pizza
Tucked away in an interesting little shopping plaza in Little River is this tiny gem.
Not being a pizza lover i had a bit of difficulty selecting but the people around us were regularly and all enjoying.
The service was spotty, but the setting was lovely, perhaps come on a cool day, sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of wine.
