Doesn’t the name say it all. A smores for dessert, pulled pork grilled cheese, and the one up north has a fabulous yard. I haven’t been to the one in the Gables yet.

On the water on the 79th street causeway I loved this place. The guy who owns it knows his salt
When I first started coming here it was standing room only. Get a fried fish sandwich or my favorite the fried seafood in chili sauce. My dad liked the oysters and its just a great place to go if you haven’t been.
FRIED CHICKEN, need i say more? a little beer joint with barrels for tables sort of place.

tapas… a small casual place that had good food but it wasn’t very comfortable. nice for dinner, not great for a long slow evening. click here
High end eatery up in Lauderdale. Good for an evening when you go up to Broward Center. They do deep fried lobster bits that aren’t on the menu.
Craving Sushi?
Up on the 79 street causeway?
want aa place that feels authentic?
then drop into the market and take a little table in the tiny sushi bar and enjoy the smallest pieces of sushi you ever tried.
Great burger, great menu. sit outside or at the bar. Relax and enjoy
Now this is a place I wish was in my neighborhood. Its a restaurant. A real restaurant with a real menu. Steak, burger, fish, fries, salads. All good. And at Bal Harbor so visually pretty and always good service. Never fast. Always good.
So much good food on the 79th street causeway. It feels authentic, whatever that means. Bread it, pan fry it, add a little gravy. Its good.
