The hardest part about never going back to a Wednesday night restaurant together is that sometimes you find a nice little one close to home, in the grove , that you know is good and you want to go again. But time passes, you pass by every so often, say you will go back, but the rues of Wednesday night is we don’t go back together, so opportunities can be limited as most of my dining companions have other places in mind, or the drive is too long. SO i haven’t been back. Go for me.. tell me how it is .

Barley, an american bistro
Say Mac and Cheese.
Castelluccio Ristorante
This was one of those fun nights out. The food was fine, but the experience was too memorable. Todd and I went because he knew someone who knew the owner. Whoever she was she joined us for appetizers and totally entertained us. Then , after dessert, her young daughter serenaded us. I can’t say go or not. its worth a try if you have a recommendation from another source.
Osteria Vecchio Piemonte
Out Sunset in a little crumbling strip center was this delicious and charming Italian restaurant.

Ball and Chain
In the heart of Little Havana, dont expect good food, but a bar atmosphere with a latin band and often couples dancing. Go out back.
Cardon y el Tirano

tapas… a small casual place that had good food but it wasn’t very comfortable. nice for dinner, not great for a long slow evening. click here
Woody’s
Im going to say this is not a classy joint, nor is waterfront but they did put in a beach. Casual dining at its best. bring the dog, bring the kids, watch the big screen. A total dive in the middle of nowhere, but isn’t that the fun of eating out as often as I do.
Chef Adriannes
Out narthex Tamiami Airport. Overpriced but relish. We arrived without a reservation nd sat at the bar. The bartender was more than friendly, the food more than good, yet I know I will not be returning. I guess I just think there are better places. BUT, if you find yourself in the neighborhood, it is absolutely worth a try.
Rouge
what a beautiful backyard. actual grapevines growing. delicious food and really just a lovely place
