Cafe Roval

A new and upscale Yummy place by the people who brought you soyka.  Just a few doors down off Biscayne near 51st street.  The loveliest back garden, the most interesting building, the yummiest grouper.  I have nothing bad to say and I can not wait to go back.

Boho

Another nice Wednesday night find I wouldn’t have tried otherwise.  On Main Highway in the grove we took Emma ( the puppy) out to dinner and found ourselves at a lovely outdoor table where i could watch all the action in the Grove.  Dinner was good.  I would go back.  It might not be my first choice, but it was good.  Its hard, When you go to a new restaurant every week for years, it takes a lot to make the list of places i want to go back to.  Sorry Boho, you were good, just not special enough.

DiNapoli

I have gone  back and forth on DiNapoli for years.  My first experience was bad, then years later I returned and it was fine.  I have been twice in the past year and taken out twice, all good.  So, for neighborhood Italian its a good choice.  You have to choose it over Papa Piccolo ( http://papapiccolopizzeria.eat24hour.com ), Papa Riccos ( at 144 and US 1) and giros ( http://cirosonline.com ) which isn’t easy.

El Chaman

http://www.elchaman.com

Sometimes confused with el chalan ( https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g34438-d431951-Reviews-El_Chalan_Restaurant-Miami_Florida.html ) because they are both out bird road and both have good food but El Chaman which is out at about 143 ave is fine dining.  Romantic, but not completely intimate you will get not only the best pisco sour intern but delicious high end peruvian food and a fantastic chocolate dessert.
