I should go back here, but the parking is impossible. I dropped in with my mom for lunch on one of those days when I was stupid from hunger. We enjoyed. Garlic, thats what I remember most.
In the heart of Coconut Grove, no air conditioning and wonderful. It better be a cool day or you must be in the window on a warm day, dont go if its hot out. They say it is the best Steak tartare in town. I like the fries.
Some of the best sushi in the south end. Also a pretty good thai menu. Its a neighborhood place. with a bar if you want.
Sunset and galloway, the art gallery restaurant. I dont know how this place survives. The night we were there we were the only patrons. I have never met anyone who said they have been there. And it was good. I would go back.
In Dadelan Plaza this is a stand by. Always good, order the michaels special, split it between two and with thai donut for dessert you have yourself a lovely meal.
At the Mandarin Oriental. Its good, its fancy, but i wont go back. I feel like I am alone when i eat here, and it does have a funny hotel feel about it. If you are staying here, then by all means eat here, but don’t make a special trip.
This is the quintessential place for cuban. Its where the community gathers to talk about Cuba and the news trucks pull in to get the pulse of the neighborhood. There isn’t anything special about it, except, you can say you were here.
El Novillo is one of those big argentinian steak houses where meat is king. Unfortunately, everything else really was lacking. Salad was watery and bland, choices of sides were almost non existent, but the meat was good.
Very popular tapas place in the gables. I like it very much but don’t go often. there are too many other places to try.
